ROTARY 1 st Annual Food Drive - Salmon Arm and Chase B.C.
On April 21, 2018 Rotary Clubs in Salmon Arm will be sponsoring our 1ST Annual Food Drive 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and in Chase April 28th, 9:00 - noon. Bags for food collection will be distributed in the Shuswap Market News April 13th in Salmon Arm and April 21 in Chase. Collection boxes will be available with bags at both Askews stores, Wallmart and Save On Foods the week of the 13th in Salmon Arm and Pharmachoice and Safety Mart in Chase the week of the 21st. Your donation will be collected from your front porch, deck or door, so leave the yellow food drive bag where we can see it from the street, filled with non-perishable food items such as:
Protein Products - Peanut butter, Canned Fish, Poultry, Ham, Baked Brown Beans, Canned Soups, Vegetables, Chili, Stew
Non- Perishables - Dry Pasta, Rice, Spaghetti Sauce, Cereal, Canned Fruits, Baby Foods and Formula,
Personal Hygiene Products
All donations received will be going to the Salvation Army, 2nd Harvest and SAFE Society (shelter). These items will help stock their shelves for another busy summer season in the Shuswap, at a time when assistance to residents is on the rise.
